Malaysia Airlines is the flag carrier airline started in 1947, with initial operations between Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
which is also a member of the Oneworld Alliance. The airline currently operates out of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport which serves as the Primary Hub and Kota Kinabalu and Kuching International Airport serving as secondary hubs.

Alliance
Oneworld founded in February 1999 is the third largest alliance in terms of passengers. Oneworld has 13 full members who collectively carry over 527.9 million passengers per year. Enrich, the frequent flyer program allows members to access OneWorld network member airlines. Passengers can access privileges based on the status of the member airline's frequent flyer program. Oneworld has three premium status levels which are Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald.

Class of Travel
Malaysian Airlines offers three classes of travel;
Business Suite Class - This cabin class was previously known as First Class which offers guests the widest fully flat seats in the world in their A380 aircraft. The Suite also comes with a 23-inch flat-screen television. On the A350 aircraft, Business suites come with a door which makes it a more private space and also has a storage cabinet along the sides of the seat.
Business Class - The Business class was formerly known as Golden Club Class which is equipped with the business suite seats and has an inbuilt USB port for charging devices. The latest touch to the business class is the 15.1" touch screen panel.
Economy Class - The wide seats and reclining headrest allows guests to have the most relaxing travel experience. Although the seats do not have individual TV screens, there is an overhead TV on the aisle. Some of the newer Malaysian aircraft have a personal in-flight entertainment system.

Baggage allowance
Economy class passengers are allowed 7kgs for carry-on and 20 - 25 kgs for checked-in luggage. Baggage Allowance differs according to the fare type chosen, please read more information on baggage allowance here.

Frequent Flyer Programme
Enrich is the Flyer Programme which allows members to earn miles on flight booking in Malaysian Airlines and Enrich airline partners, banks, hotels and retailers around the world. Enrich airline partners include Air France, Alitalia, Etihad Airways, Emirates Airline, KLM, Virgin Atlantic, Firefly, MASwings and Oneworld alliance partners.
Flying Blue is the Air France-KLM's frequent flyer programme which allows earning miles based on the travel distance, fare and service class. Flying Blue program also includes Air Europa, Garuda Indonesia, Kenya Airways, Aircalin and TAMROM. Passengers can join as members as the program is free. Flying Blue has two types of miles: Award Miles and Level Miles, where Award Miles can expire in 20 months without flying and can be exchanged for other rewards and Level Miles is valid until 31 December of each year and is used to determine membership level. Award Miles can be redeemed for free tickets, upgrade in travel class, extra baggage allowance and lounge access. Members also can donate miles to charity through KLM AirCares or make purchases in the Flying Blue Stone. Award Miles can be earned on SkyTeam partners and Flying Blue partner airlines including Alaska Airlines, Air Corsica, Airlinair, Bangkok Airways, Chalair Aviation, Comair, Copa Airlines, Gol Transportes Aéreos, Japan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, TAAG Angola, Twin Jet, and Ukraine International Airlines.

In-flight Services
Select is Malaysian Airlines' in-flight entertainment system which has three different types of Select systems:
Select 3000i- The 3000i has both audio and video available in more than 13 languages which is a touch-screen personal television.
Select 3000i Portable Media Player - The device is not only provided to all passengers in Business class but is available to passengers, it is pre-loaded with a choice of movies, Tv shows, sports and video games.
Select Mainscreen - The 15 inch drop-down retractable LCD screen have been installed at every fourth seat row in all aircraft.
Malaysian Airline A350 fleet has onboard Wi-Fi which allows passengers to stay connected on the go. Temptations, the in-flight shopping experience by Malaysian Airline which also as the Offical Liverpool FC merchandise. Guests can request for special dietary meals 24 hours prior to scheduled departure. All Cabin class guests an enjoy handcrafted meals with the Chef on Call menu by pre-booking their service.

Check-in
Domestic Flights - Passengers can check-in online 48 hrs to 2 hrs prior to the scheduled departure time.
International Flights - Passengers can check-in online 48 hrs to 2 hrs prior to the scheduled departure time.

Onboard Support
Malaysian Airline provides assistance for passengers with special needs. Wheelchairs, airport assistance during check in are provided by on ground staff. Refund & Cancellation
