Petroleum Air Services is an Egyptian joint stock company established in 1983 under the Investment Law. It provides reliable air transportation via helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft for oil, gas, mineral, economic and industrial projects. The company supports transport of individuals, equipment, air taxi/charter flights, and maintenance for the company and third parties.

Services

Petroleum Air Services is Egypt’s sole helicopter and fixed-wing service provider, primarily for oil and gas companies. It transports personnel with fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters from designated bases around Egypt, such as Ras Shukeir, Ras Gharib, and Zeit Bay in the Red Sea, Alexandria and Port Said in the Mediterranean, and Abu Rudeis in South Sinai.

The company also offers charter and VIP flights using Bombardier DHC-8 and CRJ900 Next Gen aircraft.

PAS acts as the appointed Authorized Service Centre for Leonardo Helicopters.

In 2021, PAS added an Airborne Geophysical Survey Service and launched a project for Sukari Gold Mines.

The company is certified as an Approved Maintenance Organization under ECAR part 145 and conducts line and base maintenance for its fleet and third parties. PAS counts Egyptair and Nile Air among the wide base of operators that trust its services.

Available Fleets

PAS operates modern helicopter fleets:
The AS350B3 and EC 135 support offshore missions: wind turbine maintenance, power line inspection and medical rescue. AS350B3 also supports geophysical exploration.

The AW 139 serves OGP, deep water operation and executive VIP transport.

The BELL 206 conducts pipeline inspection, aerial tourism and oil dispersal.

The BELL 412 conducts medical evacuation.

PAS also operates a CRJ900 NextGen jet aircraft for various missions. It provides domestic transport for large groups, conveys petroleum companies' employees, and offers special charter flights. The aircraft supports special route plans and is best suited for mid and long-range operations, meeting diverse aviation requirements consistently showing superior operational efficiency.
